PSG want to pair Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo with Neymar, according to reports.
Ronaldo’s future at Real Madrid has become increasingly uncertain in recent weeks with the forward currently struggling in front of goal.
The 32-year-old has found the net just once in La Liga so far, with Real Madrid falling eight points behind Barcelona at the summit as a result.
Cristiano Ronaldo was hellbent on quitting the Bernabeu this summer but a transfer failed to materialise.
But Spanish website Diario Gol claim the Portugal international could be set for a sensational move to PSG at the end of the season.
The Ligue 1 giants always looked likeliest to snap him up when speculation over his future reached its peak in the summer.
Manchester United were also in the mix for his signature but Jose Mourinho opted against an emotional return.
But Diario Gol say PSG, despite shelling out for Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, now want Ronaldo to be their attacking spearhead.
It is said plans are already being put in place with Unai Emery’s side set to embark on a January selling mission.
Angel Di Maria, who came close to joining Barcelona in the summer, is likely to be shown the door.
As is Julian Draxler, with Arsenal and Liverpool reportedly interested in bringing him to the Premier League.
But the likeliest player to go is the in-form Edinson Cavani.
Cavani has been in stunning form ever since the departure of Zlatan Ibrahimovic in 2016, scoring 66 goals in his last 66 league games.
However, a clash with Neymar earlier in the season has led to talk of a move away.
And, by selling Cavani, Di Maria and Draxler, PSG hope to have the financial muscle to pull of a stunning deal for Ronaldo as well.
