The new Toyota Yaris GRMN detailed in new images

The Japanese company released a new series of official pictures about Toyota Yaris GRMN (Gazoo Racing Masters Nürburgring), the high performance version of the small Japanese supermini, which hit the market to face models like Peugeot 208 GTi, Opel Corsa OPC, SEAT Ibiza Cupra, Volkswagen Polo GTI,  and company.
The new Toyota Yaris GRMN has  an interesting mechanics as it is presented with a configuration that is unique within its segment. It is a 1.8-liter Dual VVT-iE engine with 212 hp, which uses supercharging by compressor, a system that eliminates the usual delay of conventional turbo engines.

The engine is combined only with a six-speed manual transmission and thanks to its only 1,135 kilograms, the Yaris GRMN can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 6.3 seconds  and reach a maximum speed that has been limited to  230 km / h . It also has a specific set-up that includes Sachs dampers and shorter springs.

Externally, the model is inspired by the model with which the Japanese brand participates in the  World Rally Championship.

Inside, its  sporty baquet seats, a sports steering wheel similar to the one used by the GT86, aluminum pedals and the Toyota GAZOO Racing logo on the steering wheel, the dashboard and the seats.
