Atiku’s campaign posters reportedly flood Kogi ahead of 2019 election
Ahead of the 2019 presidential election, posters promoting the presidential ambition of former vice president Atiku Abubakar on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have surfaced in Lokoja, the Kogi state capital.
Atiku who recently dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC) for his former party, the PDP, is believed to be among those jostling for its presidential ticket ahead of the 2019 polls.
Daily Trust reports that the posters bearing Atiku’s picture have the inscriptions: ‘Save Nigeria 2019’ and ‘Waziri 2019 Allah Ga Atikun Ka’ were seen in some strategic locations in Lokoja.
Some loyalists and supporters of the former vice president in the state were said to have commenced mobilisation for Atiku ahead of the 2019 presidential election.
