Six transfers involving Premier League clubs which could still happen before January window shuts

With under 48 hours until the transfer window shuts, here’s a look at which deals could be sealed before the deadline is up.

Aubameyang-Batshuayi-Giroud transfer triangle

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s £55.4m move to Arsenal reportedly hinges on two more transfers. Though Arsenal have agreed a fee and personal terms – believed to be a £180,000-a-week contract – the deal will only go through if Borussia Dortmund bring in a replacement.

Current reports, including from the BBC , state Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi could be heading to Dortmund on loan until the end of the season, which in turn frees up Olivier Giroud to leave Arsenal and join the Blues. Arsenal however, are reluctant to sell Giroud to Chelsea for a discount price, while the Blues have baulked at the £30m asking price. There is plenty left to iron out in this triangular transfer deal.

Moura to Spurs

Tottenham have reportedly reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain to sign Brazil winger Lucas Moura . The 25-year-old is in London to finalise a £25m move subject to a medical and personal terms being agreed.

Lucas, who is expected to sign a three-and-a-half-year contract with the option of a further year, has met Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino and chairman Daniel Levy.

Laporte to Man City

Aymeric Laporte is seemingly on the verge of joining Manchester City today as manager Pep Guardiola looks to bolster his defensive options in pursuit of the Premier League title.

The French centre-back posted a farewell message to Athletic Bilbao on Monday, thanking the Basque club for their support during his time at the club. Reports said the 23-year-old was due to travel to Manchester.

Palmieri to Chelsea

Like Aubameyang, Emerson Palmieri could be London-bound on the penultimate day of the January transfer window, but in this instance, heading to Stamford Bridge. The Roma defender is set to join the Blues, but Sky Sport Italia claim that a Blues bid for Roma’s former Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko has not been successful.
