Zidane: Now is the time to get to work

Prior to the match against Levante, Real Madrid coach, Zinedine Zidane, appeared before the media and suggested that now was the time for his team to knuckle down and get to work.

After a season that has been hit and miss, Los Blancos can still end it successfully with another defence of their Champions League crown.

“It’s time to get to work,” he said to reporters.

“In my first year we had three weeks to work and we did very well, we improved a lot.

“Now we have to do the same; strength, resistance…”

Criticised for not dipping into the winter transfer market, Zidane was unmoved.

“We are all together at a difficult moment,” he continued.

“I have always noticed that my players are concentrated and get stuck in, and I trust my staff, blindly.

“What I have here is already is my workforce.”

Isco could miss out again if BBC start, and the Frenchman hinted that whatever system and personnel he uses, it only ends up with a blame game from the assembled journalists.

“Isco is an important player,” he noted.

“But tomorrow it’s Isco, then Marco Asensio, the next day it will be why isn’t Ceballos playing more … You always talk about that and I just get on with choosing my team.”
