The MWC 2018 starts in a few days from now and the leaks are still coming in. Right now, we don’t only have an idea of what the new Galaxy S9 and the Nokia One will look like, we also know what Sony’s Xperia XZ2 and Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has in stock.
One very obvious change in these new Sony smartphones is the design. The new XZ2 have completely changed the appearance of the brand’s mobiles, with a screen in 18:9 format with thin frames and rounded front and rear edges.
According to Venture Beat, the technical characteristics of the new Xperia include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor (same as the Samsung Galaxy S9 ) and a 5 “and 5.7” Full HD screen for the XZ2 and XZ2 Compact, respectively.
As for the camera, it has a 19 MP sensor and aperture f / 1.8, capable of recording in 4K and HDR, in addition to capturing video in slow motion and 1080p resolution. Its battery will be 3180 mAh for the large model and 2870 mAh for the compact model. Finally, it will be available in four colors (silver, pink, green and black) and will come with the version of Android 8.0 Oreo.
Sony will officially present its new smartphones on Monday, February 26, during MWC 2018.
