Filmmaker makes a full movie with an iPhone

The movie titled “Unsane” comes after the filmmaker has been away from Hollywood for four years.

Filmmaker and movie director Steven Soderbergh returned to Hollywood with “Unsane”, a movie completely filmed with an iPhone.

In a recent interview, Soderbergh confirmed that the psychological thriller will be out in March this year, adding that the filming duration was only 10 days with only 1 iphone.

Soderbergh’s aim was to create a more crude result and a closer approach to the viewer.

“Unsane” was presented at the Berlin Film Festival and features Claire Foy and Joshua Leonard as lead actors. The film tells the story of a successful businesswoman who believes that a man she has met in the past is chasing her. Going to a psychiatric institution, she realizes that the man is one of the nurses.

“I see this as one of the most liberating experiences I’ve ever had as a filmmaker ,” the director said in an interview. “This is a new chapter for me.”
