Ghostbusters World is a new augmented reality game that was presented by Sony and was revealed today as part of the announcement of the launch of the Augmented Reality (AR) platform Google ARCore 1.0 , within the framework of the Mobile World Congress 2018 held in Barcelona, Spain.
The game is currently in the development stage and is part of a collaboration between Sony Pictures Entertainment Consumer Products, Ghost Corps and FourThirtyThree Inc. (4:33).
At the Mobile World Congress, attendees will be able to see a brief demonstration of the game, which will only show a small portion of the many features and mechanisms of the final game. Attendees will also be able to experience the game on the Google booth during the conference.
With Ghostbusters World, players can fight and capture hundreds of ghosts.
At the presentation the Director of Ghost Corps and also Director and Producer of the original movie Ghostbusters (Ghostbusters), Ivan Reitman, said:
The Ghostbusters universe is rich in characters and Ghostbusters World is the perfect medium to meet these characters in a completely new dimension.
For his part Jamie Stevens, Executive Vice President of Global Consumer Products of Sony Pictures Entertainment, noted that:

Activision and Sony launched two new Ghostbusters games, one free for iOS and Android and another for consoles.
