Hybridization came to the Honda CR-V in this generational change which will have its debut at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. In addition, a version with three rows of seats will be available as an option.
One of the novelties that the Japanese manufacturer has prepared to take to the Geneva Motor Show 2018 is the new generation of the Honda CR-V.
Externally the new Honda CR-V 2018 premieres a new front grill, headlights and bumpers. However, beyond its new exterior design, the most relevant novelty is related to its larger dimensions, thanks to an extended wheelbase, now the Honda CR-V 2018 launches a new version with seven seats.
It also launches new materials to improve the perceived quality and seven-inch infotainment system.
As for the engines, the new Honda CR-V will feature a turbocharged VTEC Turbo 1.5-liter engine, although the most important mechanical novelty is the new hybrid system that combines a 2.0-liter VTEC engine with two electrical engines of which no performance or consumption specifications have been provided.
The thrusters can be combined with a six-speed manual transmission or either CVT type automatic and front-wheel drive or optionally the “Real Time AWD Intelligent Control System” four-wheel drive system from Honda.
