Premier League clubs signed 25 players on transfer deadline day with a whopping £128m was spent on Thursday with Kurt Zouma poised to become No 26 on if he joins Everton on a season-long loan today.

Fourteen clubs improve their squads as the season begins today with Premier League returning Fulham brought five new players and became the first promoted side to spend more than £100million in their first transfer window.

Cardiff City: Victor Camarasa from Real Betis on loan, Harry Arter from Bournemouth on loan.

Chelsea: Mateo Kovacic from Real Madrid on loan.

Crystal Palace: Jordan Ayew from Swansea on loan.

Everton: Bernard on a free transfer, Andre Gomes from Barcelona on loan, Yerry Mina from Barcelona for £28.5m

Fulham: Sergio Rico from Sevilla on loan, Joe Bryan from Bristol City for £6m, Luciano Vietto from Atletico Madrid on loan, Timothy Fosu-Mensah from Manchester United on loan, Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa from Marseille for £30m.

Huddersfield Town: Isaac Mbenza from Montpellier on loan.

Leicester City: Filip Benkovic from Dinamo Zagreb for £13.5m, Caglar Soyuncu from Freiburg for £19m.

Manchester City: Daniel Arzani from Melbourne City for an undisclosed fee.

Newcastle United: Federico Fernandez from Swansea for £6m.

Southampton: Danny Ings from Liverpool on loan.

Watford: Domingos Quina from West Ham for £1m.

West Ham United: Lucas Perez from Arsenal for £10m, Carlos Sanchez from Fiorentina for a £2.5m fee.

Wolverhampton Wanderers: Leander Dendoncker from Anderlecht on loan.
